GLS University is committed to fostering an innovative and ideal learning environment, building on the proud legacy of its founding institution, Gujarat Law Society (GLS). Established in 1927, GLS is one of the oldest and largest educational organizations in Gujarat, envisioned by eminent leaders such as Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Shri Ganesh Mavlankar—the first Speaker of India—and Shri I. M. Nanavati.

Founded in April 2015 under the Gujarat Private University Act 2009, GLS University has rapidly grown into a mammoth institution, enrolling over 15,000+ students across 9 departments and offering 25+ programmes in diverse fields, including Business Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Applications, Engineering, Design, Performing Arts & Liberal Studies.
