As part of our continuous commitment to enhancing student employability and industry readiness, our institution successfully organized a specialized technical session on "Defend the Domain: Active Directory Security & Your Cybersecurity Career" on 14th July, 2026 for the postgraduate students.

The insightful session was delivered by Mr. Rajan Christian, Assistant Manager & Lead – Red Team, Colgate-Palmolive, who shared his extensive industry expertise in offensive security, enterprise infrastructure protection, and Red Team operations.

Students gained valuable insights into the critical role of Active Directory in modern enterprise environments and learned why identity and access management, privilege control, authentication mechanisms, and secure administrative practices are essential for defending organizations against evolving cyber threats.

Drawing from real-world experiences, Mr. Christian also highlighted the exciting career opportunities available in the cybersecurity domain, including Security Operations (SOC), Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment, Incident Response, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and Red Team Operations.
