The Faculty of Computer Applications & Information Technology (PG), GLS University successfully organized a Panel Discussion on “Empowering Women in IT: From Participation to Leadership” on 10th March 2026.

We were pleased and  honoured to have inspiring women industry leaders as our panel members:

• Ms.  Dimple Vaghela – AWS Community Leader & Co-Founder, CloudKida
• Ms. Urmi Lakkad – CEO, Renav Technologies
• Dr. Pooja Ajwani – Project Manager & Researcher, InfoBeans

The session was moderated by Dr. Snehal Shukla, Assistant Professor, FCAIT - GLSU. The panel discussion started with the inspiring journey of the panel members and  provided valuable insights on career growth, leadership opportunities, industry challenges, and the evolving role of women in the technology sector. Students gained inspiration and practical guidance from the experiences shared by the distinguished panel members.

More than 150 students actively participated in the session, making it highly engaging. We sincerely thank the panel members for their valuable time and for inspiring the next generation of women in technology.
