The Faculty of Computer Applications and Information Technology - PG (FCAIT-PG), GLS University organized an insightful session on “Surviving and Succeeding in the AI Revolution” on 10th March 2026.

The speaker Mr. Jigar Joshi, Vice President – Enterprise Solutions at ROCKEYE shared his valuable insights on how AI is transforming industries and the importance of adapting to emerging technologies. The session focused on how students and future IT professionals can leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, build innovative solutions, and stay relevant in the rapidly changing technology landscape. 

He discussed how AI represents a major productivity revolution, similar to the impact of electricity and the internet, and explained how AI tools can assist developers in coding, documentation, testing, and problem solving. Students also learned about new AI-native roles emerging in the industry such as AI Engineer, Prompt Engineer, AI Product Manager, and Data Engineer. The session also highlighted the importance of continuous learning, problem-solving skills, human collaboration with AI, and building real-world projects to remain competitive in the future job market. Practical guidance was provided on how students can start using AI tools in their daily learning and development processes.

Overall, the session was highly informative and helped students understand how AI will shape the future of technology careers. The discussion encouraged students to embrace innovation, develop domain expertise, and build strong technical and analytical skills.
