About

He is a cybersecurity professional and academician with 8 years of combined experience across academia and industry. His academic journey includes serving at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) and currently contributing as a faculty member at GLS University. In industry, he has worked as a Cyber Security Analyst with Ernst & Young (E&Y) and Colgate-Palmolive, gaining strong exposure to real-world security operations, risk handling, and enterprise security practices.

He has extensive training and capacity-building experience, having trained more than 1,000 government officials, police officers, judges, and senior administrators, including IAS and IPS officers. His training footprint spans both national and international law enforcement communities, with participants from countries such as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Philippines, Ghana, Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Bhutan, Singapore, and others. He has also collaborated directly with law enforcement agencies on multiple cybercrime investigations, contributing practical expertise to case analysis and incident handling.

In addition, he has provided consultancy to government and private institutions for capacity building, training programs, and investigation support. His research interests focus on wearable device security and incident response management. He holds a Master’s degree in Digital Forensics and Information Security, a Bachelor’s degree in IT Infrastructure Management Services, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Wearable Security.
